The website Albufeira Rentals provides links to translate its webpages to all the major European languages.
If you would like to translate certain words or even whole paragraphs to any other European language then try Google Translation
This can be very useful to plan certain help phrases if you are planning to drive to a foreign country and run into difficulties. You may breakdown somewhere where the local residents have no ability to communicate with you in your language!

On leaving Faro airport follow the sign to Faro but dont go into Faro -you will then see a blue sign for Portimao on the N125 road -follow this until you see the blue sign A22 /IP1 to Portimao-don`t go fast otherwise you may miss certain turns.
Once on the motorway A22 / IP1 and you can see a castle on a hill on the right side, you can go faster until you reach the Albufeira turn off at junction 9.This takes you onto the N125 and then the N395-look out for a footbridge over the road -just before this footbridge on the right side is the entrance to Club Albufeira.
Stop at the Reception Office of Club Albufeira and ask them to show you on their map where your apartment or villa is located. If you go to the round-about you have gone too far!
Although you may already be accustomed to driving on the right-hand side of the road in other countries such as Germany, be aware that for some reason the Portuguese seem to like driving on the left ( overtaking ) which has caused many accidents. Defensive and careful driving is therefore necessary.

Many owners do not live in Portugal themselves. They have purchased their apartments not only as a holiday home but also as an investment, offering their apartments for rental for the majority of the year.
To ensure the smooth running of the rentals to holiday-makers, the owners pay for an on-site manager and an annual fee to the Club Albufeira for the upkeep of the pools, gardens and any repairs necessary to the apartments. Additionally the owners are required to pay for the utilities: -electric, water, waste disposal and cleaning of the apartments.
The weekly rental prices quoted to holiday guests are fully inclusive of all such costs and is solely for the hire of the apartment itself.
When 6 guests share the cost of an apartment this represents a considerable saving when compared to paying hotel prices for each person. As the apartments are self-catering, further savings can be made!
Drinks can be refrigerated at less cost than the traditional mini-bar of a hotel and during a week’s holiday, dining in, rather than going to restaurants for every meal translates into a huge savings on food alone. The apartments themselves offer far more space than a hotel room or a cramped cabin on a cruise and wake-up times are independent of hotel routines.
Club Albufeira Owner Apartments are few in comparison to all of the apartments on the entire complex of the Club Albufeira.
Being so few in number and of such a high standard, these holiday apartments are always in great demand throughout the year. The demand is of course much more during the school holiday periods, so much so that the demand exceeds availability. It is therefore a wise move to reserve early to obtain an owners` apartment.
Typically by the end of April of each year most of these much sought after apartments are already fully booked for the peak season months of July and August.
So the holiday-makers who leave booking their summer holiday until almost the last minute will in consequence suffer frustration and disappointment.
Most owners will reserve their apartment for your requested holiday dates with just a twenty percent deposit, the balance is then due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. This then clearly is the way to beat the rush, avoid the frustration and ultimate disappointment. Make enquiry

The recent horrors of lost luggage at Heath Row`s Terminal 5 makes one think about how to deal with a lost luggage crisis.
Here are a few tips to help avoid the trauma of lost luggage before you travel.
Make a list of everything you have packed then if your bags are lost you can
use it as an inventory. Take a photo of your bags too - having a picture of your luggage is easier than describing what your case looks like at the claims desk.
Put your name, address and contact details on a large piece of paper inside your luggage in case the label on the outside falls off.
Pack items like jewellery and cameras in your hand luggage. Some airline’s consider these ‘unacceptable baggage items’ so you won’t be able to claim compensation.
If your luggage contains recently purchased items try to keep receipts at home.
Take out travel insurance before your trip to ensure your luggage is covered.
Brightly coloured or distinctive luggage is easily identifiable. This will help to prevent other passengers from mistaking your bags as theirs and it also deters thieves.
Before you travel investigate your airlines and airports ‘lost luggage’ policies.
If travelling with someone else, pack some of your items in the other person’s luggage and vice versa. That way, if one bag is lost you have at least some of your personal items with you.
Pack a day’s worth of clothes in your hand luggage as back-up precaution.

Self catering properties reflect the good taste and pride of the owners with fine furnishings and decor. Self catering accommodation also saves money!
- A furnished kitchen allows holiday-makers to prepare many of their own meals.
- During a week’s holiday, dining in, rather than going to restaurants for every meal translates into a huge savings on food alone.
- Drinks can be refrigerated at less cost than the traditional mini-bar of a hotel and our advertised self catering apartments, villas, cottages, farm houses offer far more space than a hotel room or a cramped cabin on a cruise.
- In addition to a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher etc, the holiday property may have a washing machine and dryer.
- Guests can wash their golf, tennis, or beach wear each day giving the hidden benefit: of less luggage to haul on the trip.
